Washer Tumble Dryers - Are They Really All That?

Living in a modern age such as this, us human beings have become completely dependant on technology. What if all those nifty appliances that we count on so much were to disappear? We wouldn't know what to do. Machines automate various aspects of our lives, thereby freeing up much time that we then spend on activities we actually enjoy. We take this for granted and having to say goodbye to all those electronic luxury would surely be a disappointment. More and more machines, gadgets and appliances are coming out each year. All of them are also starting to shrink in size, while the amount of features is increasing.

One of the trends in technology today, is that things are becoming integrated with each other. This is especially true in cell phones, which can also play your mp3 and take pictures for you. Most of them can also browse the Internet. It's remarkable. You can also find this trend in household appliances. One recent invention that integrates two machines into one, is the tumble washer dryer condenser. It integrates both washing machine and drying machine into one. A friend of mine owns one of these things and he was more than happy to show it to me. The old washer and the old dryer were sold for a $150 and a new washer dryer combo was bought!

The machine he had purchased is the LG WM3431HW Washing Drying Machine. Oh sure, he had to pony up quite a bit more than those $150 he got for their old appliances, but it was certainly worth it. Instead of having two machines, he now has only one. It saves a lot of space. But that's not all. What to think about the fact that he doesn't even have to transfer washed clothes into the dryer anymore? Such a big machine takes a lot of clothes. Not just his, but also those of his family.

He only has to do one load at a time. He loads a load of dirty clothing into the washer dryer combo and turns it on. Then he leaves for work. When he comes back home, there's a clean, dry set of clothes waiting for him. The auto ironing program in this machine also does a little bit of ironing for him. He still has to do some ironing manually by himself, but at least half the time is cut from that by the machine already. It's amazing the things that machines can do for a person these days. My friends tells me he saves on average 5 to 6 hours per week. One day, I will have to purchase one of these babies myself. I can't wait to save that many hours of time per week myself!
