72When you are looking for a quick weight loss diet to rapidly lose weight with, make sure you know up front how many calories the diet should be.
In order to lose weight quickly, you need to go on a diet that is 500 calories lower than the amount of calories you are currently using to maintain your weight.
Some people like to use formulas in order to calculate their calorie maintenance levels. Me personally, I just like to look at what I'm eating right now. Because what I'm eating daily currently, is what is keeping my body at its current weight.
Then, I calculate for all the food I eat how many calories are in it. I add it all up and this gives me the amount of calories that is currently keeping me at my current weight.
From this amount, I subtract 500 calories. Now I know the number of calories that my diet needs to give me in order for me to lose weight safely and effectively over a longer period of time.
How To Lose Weight Fast
When you have figured out how many calories you need daily, you have to find a diet that gives you exactly that amount of calories.
When you are trying to find a low fat diet plan, you still need to make sure that it will be balanced and complete. You still need lots of nutrients, even though you will be living on a calorie deficit.
When going on a weight loss diet, there are a number of guidelines you can stick to to increase your chances of success!
The nutritional guidelines are as follows:
1. Stop eating so fast! Enjoy the food you are eating with every bite you take.
2. Replace unhealthy snacks with healthier alternatives. This means giving up your daily candy bar and eating an apple instead.
3. Avoid all foods that are high in calories. Junkfood has an enormous amount of calories, while fruits and vegetables have very little. With high calorie foods, you're taking in calories so fast... chances are you won't even be aware of it.
4. When first starting your diet, don't get caught up in the details. Don't wait with dieting until you've come up with the one perfect diet. Start right now by cutting some calories, then improve upon your diet in the coming weeks.
5. Eat 4 to 6 times per day. This helps to keep your metabolism going. Every time food arrives in the stomach, this jumpstarts your metabolism. And it will keep working for a while after it is done processing your food. This helps you burn fat.
6. Make sure you always have low fat foods around. Stock up on them and prepackage them the day before.
7. Always include fruits and vegetables in your diet. I've never seen a diet that didn't include them. Try to vary the types of fruits and veggies you eat.
8. Avoid the foods that have much sugar, like candy and cookies. The sugar you get from candy and cookies are refined carbohydrates that give you spikes in your insulin. They give you too much energy at once, most of which will be stored as fat.

Effective Weight Loss
If you want to lose weight in the most effective way, then it's clear you will also have to take up exercise.
As with your diet, you need to educate yourself about what kind of exercise to do. You need a plan. A program that you can stick to!
Don't worry, you won't be spending 2 hours on a treadmill per day. Nobody has ever achieved any real long term results doing it like this.
Spend too much time doing cardio and you will quickly become overexhausted. You will make yourself hate physical exercise and it will put you at risk of putting it off completely.
Rest assured, going to the gym 3 or 4 times per week is more than enough for you to lose weight quickly.
It's so much harder to burn calories than to not eat them in the first place!
That's why I keep telling people... let the bulk of your calorie deficit come from your diet and not from your exercise.

Great stuff. I think I have tried everything under the sun.
I am now trying a product called Thermogen Plus supposed to help you lose through thermogenesis. I tried a product about 9 years ago called Zymax and lost 7 lbs the first week and continued to lose.My blood pressure went through the roof-needless to say that product has resulted in 37 0r 38 deaths, thank God I realized I had to stop taking it. Any thoughts on the Coconut Diet?
